Our information sessions are designed to educate community members and workers about what consumers can do if they are having problems with:
- banks, credit cards and loans
- businesses, contractors and consumer rights
- discrimination
- doctors, nurses, hospitals or other health services
- electricity, gas and water companies
- federal government agencies (Centrelink, taxation)
- legal issues
- state government agencies (housing, police, child protection, community services, prisons)
- telephone, mobile and internet companies
In order to make the day a success and attract as many participants as possible, as a co-host you'd need to:
- nominate at least two people to liaise with the Good Service Forum mob
- promote the forum within your local and surrounding communities
- assist with organising venue, catering and Elder for Welcome to Country
- identify potential organisation/s to assist with transport of community members (if required)
